ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - An early Saturday shooting on Laclede’s Landing has the Saint Louis police chief issuing a warning on his Twitter account.
Sam Dotson posted in regards to the arrest of an assault suspect, “Drinking and guns don’t mix. If you drink, DON’T bring your gun. #commonsense”
Police say a 31-year-old man was taken into custody near the 600 block of North 2nd Street.
He’s accused of shooting at two cars and wounding one man.
Officers say a 22-year-old man was shot in the arm and is in critical but stable condition.
Investigators determined the shooting happened after a fight between several men.

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – A suspect is in custody for a shooting Saturday morning on Laclede’s Landing that left one person critically injured.
Police say the shooting happened shortly before three a.m. at Second and Morgan.
Police patrolling the area heard shots and found the suspect shooting into a car. Two women in the car were not hurt.
A man later showed up at a hospital with a gunshot wound to the shoulder. It was determined he was shot in the car, but fled before officers arrived.
Police have no motive for the shooting.
