CHESTERFIELD, Mo. (KMOX) — The Missouri Department of Transportation is vowing to up its pothole-filling game with a new mission dubbed Enhanced Pothole Patrol.

MoDOT District Engineer Ed Hassinger says crews have hit the most notorious of potholes; now they need your help to sniff out the sneaky ones.

“If you call in a pothole today on your way to work we’ll make every effort do to get that patched by the time you go to work the next day,” said Hassinger.

Hassinger says this year isn’t especially good or bad for potholes. It’s just another end-of-winter.
