From San Jose for the second and hopefully the third round for the NCAA Tournament is where Scott Warmann talked with Saint Louis University Athletic Director Chris May. The Billikens open up against New Mexico State on Thursday afternoon. Along with tourney hopes, other college basketball news including a new conference looks to be very relevant to SLU’s future.

Along with SLU, the Missouri Valley Conference was affected by the conference transferring announced on Wednesday. In fact, the MVC lost conference champion, the Creighton Bluejays as they will be moving to the new Big East Conference. Scott Warmann talked about this along with tourney hopes for Creighton and the Wichita State Shockers with MVC commissioner Doug Elgin.

Who’s Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch picking for the NCAA championship? From the NFL Owners Meeting in Phoenix, ‘JT’ discusses commissioner Roger Goodell’s comments on the league’s future in St. Louis. Him and Scott also talk about the new rule changes that have been announced the past couple of days.

The Blues are on another Western Conference trip this time to Canada and the Northwest. Scott spoke with associate coach Brad Shaw about the team getting healthy and finding more confidence in rookie goalie Jake Allen.
