St. Louis Firefighter Injured In Afternoon Fire
ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – There’s no word on the condition of the St. Louis firefighter who was injured while battling a noon-hour blaze that gutted a south St. Louis home.
Captain Dan Sutter tells KMOX when firefighters got to the three-story brick building at the corner of Magnolia and Louisiana, flames had engulfed the basement then quickly filled the first floor.
When the floor starting giving way, firefighters were ordered out of the building.
The woman and child who live there got out on their own. The cause investigation is underway.
