VIDEO: Police Seek Man Who Tampered With Soup

MANCHESTER, Mo. (KMOX) – The FBI is helping Manchester police find a man who poured something in a pot of soup at a Dierberg’s salad bar.

Witnesses at the store in the 400 block of Lafayette Center saw the suspect and immediately told store employees who pulled the soup in question off the salad bar before anyone could buy it.

Police have released a store surveillance video:

The suspect is described as a heavy set white male in his late 50s with a light beard. He was wearing a camouflage cap, a blue jacket, with a pink shirt, and blue jeans.

Manchester Police Chief Tim Walsh won’t disclose what the man put in the soup while the investigation is ongoing.

The incident occurred last Thursday.

Anyone with information should contact police.
