Blues Acquire 7th Round Draft Pick in Exchange for Redden

ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Blues Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the club has acquired a conditional seventh round draft pick in 2014 from Boston in exchange for defenseman Wade Redden.

Redden, 35, dressed in 23 games for the Blues this season posting five points including two goals and three assists to go along with 11 penalty minutes.

Overall, the 6’2, 205-pound defenseman has appeared in 1,017 career National Hockey League (NHL) games between Ottawa, the New York Rangers and St. Louis accumulating 455 points (108 goals, 347 assists) and 665 penalty minutes.
