COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) - Some former University of Missouri football stars who landed in the NFL are returning to Columbia this weekend for a charity softball game.

Philadelphia Eagles receiver Jeremy Maclin is hosting a Saturday youth football clinic at the university and a “Mizzou Legends” softball match and home run derby.

The softball game features teams of 10 to 15 former Tigers in an offense versus defense match. Former Missouri linebacker and current Atlanta Falcon Sean Weatherspoon leads the defense, with Maclin guiding the offense.

Registration is closed for the youth clinic, but tickets are available for both the softball game and a Saturday night charity dinner at Mizzou Arena.

The Boys and Girls Club of Columbia and The Ronald McDonald House are among the beneficiaries.
