Thief Breaks into Salvation Army Store in Belleville

BELLEVILLE, Ill. (KMOX) — Its a crime Salvation Army Maj. K. Kendall Mathews calls “a travesty”. A man kicked in the window of a Salvation Army Store in Belleville Thursday morning, stealing DVDs, video games and other electronics.

That man, 34-yaer-old Brian Schissler is now in jail charged with one count of burglary, after his act was caught on a surveillance camera.

All the video games and DVD he is charged with stealing have been returned.
