BELLEVILLE, Ill. (KMOX) – Arrests made and some charges filed in a string of Metro-East burglaries…

Belleville police announced Saturday that two suspects are jailed for a recent break-in on Lucinda Avenue.

Eighteen-year-old Wadell Savage of East St. Louis and 19-year-old Michael Rencher of Belleville are both charged with residential burglary.

Rencher also faces a charge of attempted residential burglary in a Fairview Heights case, and a second residential burglary charge for a separate Belleville case.

A third man, 22-year-old Vincent Pitts of Belleville, is also charged in that last one.

Bond is set at $150-thousand for Savage and Rencher, $100-thousand for Pitts.

Detectives say their investigation continues.
