Ameren Mo. Deactivates Emergency Ops Center

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – A check of the Ameren Missouri power outage map on Saturday morning showed only 224 locations remaining without power in the wake of Wednesday night’s storms.

Ameren Missouri officials say 43,000 were without power at the peak of the outage.

The company de-activated its Emergency Operations Center, Saturday morning.

Officials say the majority of outages resulted from high winds. All total, Ameren Missouri deployed 1,171 workers, including vegetation management employees and field checkers, to assist with restoration efforts. Crews from Illinois also assisted with restoration to the hardest-hit areas.
