Toddler Found Wandering Outside Wentzville Apartment Complex

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – A child under the age of two is found wandering outside a Wentzville apartment complex.

The St. Louis Post Dispatch reports the child was found around 7:30 a.m. Friday, rattling a neighbor’s door handle. The child was wearing only a turtleneck, sock and diaper in 39 degree weather.

Wentzville police say the child was examined and found unhurt.

The mother was sleeping in their apartment. She was arrested but later released pending an investigation.
