Jennings Murder Victim Identified

JENNINGS, Mo. (KMOX) – A Jennings man shot to death inside his home Friday night has been identified.

Police say 38-year-old Anthony Sherrill was approached by two other men as he was unloading groceries outside his home in the 54-hundred block of Hamilton.

Sherrill ran inside… but the suspects followed him inside and shot him once in the chest.

Police continue to search for the suspects.

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – St. Louis County Police are releasing more details about Friday night’s deadly shooting in Jennings.

Police say a 38-year-old man was shot around eight p.m. inside his home in the 5400 block of Hamilton. The victim was unloading groceries from his vehicle when he was approached by two males. He ran inside, but was followed by the suspects who shot him inside the home; then fled.

Police have no motive for the shooting. No description of the suspects has been released.
