Sometimes, a sporting event can be the perfect distraction for those mourning or trying to recover from a trauma such as the Boston Marathon bombing. Wednesday night, the City of Boston returned to games as the Bruins hosted the Buffalo Sabres. Before the drop of the puck, Chris Hrabe began the show by playing the emotional national anthem pre-game moment.

The Cardinals certainly are not the only ball club with obvious issues to begin the season. Chris Hrabe talked with Ryan Fagan of The Sporting News about the early MLB season, plus touch on basketball topics including early love for SLU and the players departing for the NBA.

One man certainly ready for the 2013 NFL Draft is Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. Accountable of each prospect that has made a visit with the Rams, there’s no one more in tune with who the Rams may end up picking beginning with the first round on Thursday, April 25 in New York.
