Wentzville’s Losing Its School Superintendent

WENTZVILLE, Mo. (KMOX)- Recognized as the the fastest-growing school district in Missouri, Wentzville R-IV will soon be looking for a new leader.

Superintendent Terry Adams announced his resignation, Thursday night, at the district’s board meeting.

Dr. Adams has been an educator for 38 years —the past seven as head of Wentzville schools.

He received the Missouri Association of School Administrators “Superintendent of the Year” award in 2012.

Adams’ resignation takes effect at the end of June.
