JERSEYVILLE, Ill. (AP) A 48-year-old Jerseyville man has died after drowning in a pond on his property.
The Telegraph in Alton reports (http://bit.ly/11pi6L3) that Scott Bosoluke died Thursday afternoon. Authorities said Friday that it appears his death was an accidental drowning. First responders from the Brighton-Betsey Ann Fire Protection District and the Medora Fire Department found Bosoluke’s body in a pond near his house.
Jersey County Coroner Larry Alexander says an autopsy found Bosoluke drowned. Alexander says Bosoluke was trying to clear a spillway drainage pipe when he apparently fell into the water.
