Man Shot, Killed by Police near Edward Jones Dome

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOX) — A 25-year-old was killed by St. Louis police last night after he pulled a gun on them, near the Edward Jones Dome.

It began with a car chase, then the passenger, jumped out of the car and tried to runaway. But then he turned around according to Major Rochelle Jones, and pointed a 45 caliber weapon with an extend clip at the officers.

“What the officers did is what they were trained to do. They were faced with a subject who had a weapon and it was deadly force so they fired their weapons.”

The driver of the car, meanwhile, stayed behind and was apprehended by officers.
