Kirkwood Student in Custody After Threat

KIRKWOOD, Mo. (KMOX) — No weapons were found, but a verbal threat to shoot two fellow students has a Kirkwood juvenile in a lot of trouble.

It happened Wednesday at Nipher Middle School in the Kirkwood District.

The students who were threatened told a Kirkwood police officer stationed at the school, who then informed district officials.

The juvenile who made the threat, whose gender wasn’t identified in a police report, was removed from Nipher and taken to the St. Louis Family Courts juvenile detention facility.
