Major League Baseball hitters are swinging and missing at an alarming rate after players set a record a season ago. CBS Sports senior baseball columnist Scott Miller joined the show to discuss the possible record-setting strike out numbers, a topic he wrote about on Thursday for CBSSports.com. Plus, he and Kevin also touch on instant replay controversy and the Cardinals.

Can the Blues get the Stanley Cup Playoff series against the Los Angeles Kings back to Scottrade Center after heart-breaking OT loss in Game 5? From Southern California, hear from FOX Sports Midwest color analyst Darren Pang as he joined the show to preview Game 6 with Kevin.

Coming up on June 14, the PNC Bank High School Baseball Showcase will again give 50 high school seniors from the area the opportunity to show off their potential for scouts. Former Cardinals pitcher Alan Benes, now a scout with the franchise, will be a manager for one of the teams and joined the show to talk about the annual event.
