Fallen Firefighters Remembered in Kingdom City

KINGDOM CITY, Mo. (KMOX) – The names of two St. Louis-area firefighters were added to a memorial wall in Kingdom City, over the weekend.

Sixty-year-old Doug Haase Sr. of the St. Charles Fire Department and 46-year-old Jeffrey Hudson of the St. Louis Fire Department died of medical emergencies, last year, while on duty.

Haase had 27 years of experience in the fire service, and Hudson had 18 years.

The Fire Fighters Association of Missouri says there are plans to build a museum at the site of the memorial wall. Donations are being accepted.
