Two Shot in South St. Louis Robbery

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – Homicide detectives were called to a crime scene at Chippewa and Alfred in south St. Louis just before noon Friday for reports of a double shooting.

Police say it happened around 11:30 a.m. when a robbery suspect shot two owners of Quick Stop Convenience and Wireless after they refused to hand over money.

Both victims are males and police say they are brothers, “a 19-year-old shot in the head in critical/unstable condition & 23-year old shot in the arm in stable condition.”

Early Friday evening, police said one of the two brothers had died.
