ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Despite having the National League’s best record, no St. Louis Cardinals are leading in the first update of All-Star balloting, released Tuesday.

Outfielder Carlos Beltran is fourth in votes at his position, trailing Ryan Braun by a little less than 100,000. Justin Upton and Bryce Harper occupy the first two outfield spots.

Yadier Molina is second to Buster Posey at catcher. There’s a little more than 300,000 votes separating the two.

Matt Carpenter is fourth in votes at second base. David Freese is fourth in votes at third base.

Shortstop Pete Kozma is fifth at his position.

Balloting ends July 4th. The All-Star Game is July 16 in New York.
