Reds Win Record 12th Straight at Wrigley

The Cincinnati Reds continue to stay hot, defeating the Chicago Cubs today, 2-1.

Reds’ pitcher Mike Leake handed off a three-hit effort to closer Aroldis Chapman, who recorded his 17th save of the season.

Todd Frazier hit a solo home run off of Cubs’ pitcher Travis Wood in the top of the sixth to break the scoreless tie.

Leake improves to 6-3, while Wood drops to 5-5.
