Morning Crash Leaves Two Dead In the City

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – Two people are dead following a collision between a tractor trailer and an SUV early Saturday morning just south of the city limits.

St. Louis Police say it happened around 3:15 at South Broadway and River City Boulevard. Police say the tractor trailer overturned, spilling its contents across the road. The drivers of both vehicles were killed. Killed in the semi was 56 year-old Lawrence Coleman of Arnold, the driver of the SUV was identified as 29 year-old Matthew Barton of Cedar Hill. Police are investigating a claim by a witness that the semi driver ran a red light at the intersection.
