Photogenic St. Louis, Part 1

St. Louis has, for me, that perfect blend of the old and the new.
The colorful fountains at CityGarden downtown are so fun and picturesque, but I also love the gritty, the unusual and sometimes, even the decay.
Here are a few of my favorite shots of the past few weeks.
This scene really captured my attention when I drove down Olive between Midtown and Downtown one afternoon.
I’m so glad I pulled over to snap this shot because not long after, some more demolition took place.
Here’s another interesting shot, right next door.
The day after I took this, the outside door was removed.
But I thought a doorway to another door made quite a neat shot.
The kids and I checked out the Wizard of Oz exhibit at Central Library one Saturday.
They had a blast and I never miss an opportunity to hang out in one of my favorite buildings!
I took this shot from the steps of Central Library after leaving the Landmarks Association’s Most Improved Awards. It’s the Park Pacific, home of KMOX!
More to come!
