ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOX) — Illinois drives listen up. The McKinley Bridge will be closed this weekend.
Illinois Department of Transportation says crews will clean the bridge and apply sealant, weather permitting.
The bridge will shut down at 9 p.m. Friday and is expected to reopen to traffic by 5 a.m. Monday.
The closure was supposed to take place earlier this month but was postponed because of flooding.
The McKinley Bridge spans the Mississippi between the northern part of St. Louis and Venice, Ill.
