UPDATE: St. Charles County Hit-and-Run Case was ‘Drug Deal Gone Bad’

ST. CHARLES COUNTY, Mo. (KMOX) — Two men are now charged in the hit-and-run death of a St. Charles County man, and three juveniles are also implicated in what now turns out to be an alleged drug deal gone bad.

The St. Charles County Prosecuting Attorney’s office says the 17 year old who was run over by a pick up truck has been identified as Tyler Pinner, but officials also claim it was Pinner who delivered marijuana to five individuals in the truck who then refused to pay and sped off.

Investigators say Pinner tried to hold onto the truck but was hit when it made a sharp turn.

O’Fallon police saw a truck that fit the description and arrested two 19-year-old men, Kevin Labriado Jr. and Robert Bathe, both of O’Fallon, Mo.

They are currently held without bond and face second degree murder charges.
