Body Found Floating in Mississippi River North of Downtown

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Fire crews pulled a woman’s dead body out of the Mississippi River Monday morning.
Captain Dan Sutter, spokesman for the St. Louis Fire Department says a recreational boater called 911 with the discovery at about 8:15 a.m. Sutter says the boater first spotted the body north of downtown but south of the Chain of Rocks Bridge.
No word on who the woman is or how she died.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating.
