ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – The suspect who walked up to a porch on the 3900 block of Ashland in St. Louis and began firing has been arrested and charged.
Ralph Cato, a 20-year-old male, has been charged with first degree murder, two counts of first degree assault and three counts of armed criminal action from the Tuesday shooting.
St. Louis police says the victims were seated on the front porch when Cato approached and started shooting.
Charles Moorehead, a 20-year-old male, was shot in the chest and transported to an area hospital where he later died.
The second of the three victims, who is being identified as a 20-year-old male, was shot in the back and transported to an area hospital where he is listed in serious but stable condition. The third victim, identified as a 29-year-old female, was not injured, according to police.
