SAUGET, Ill. (KMOX)- History was made Saturday night at GCS Ballpark in Sauget.

Pitcher Tim Brown (St. Louis, Clayton HS) threw the third no-hitter in the history of the Frontier League’s Gateway Grizzlies, and the second-ever at their home ballpark.

The 26-year-old Brown struck out four and walked two in Gateway’s 9-0 win over the Lake Erie Crushers. He has a record of 8-2 with an ERA of 3.05 on the season.

The Grizzlies own a 33-20 record, good for first place in the Western Division.
