Rams COO Seeks Feedback On Clear Bag Policy

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – Rams fans had their first experience with the National Football League’s new “clear bag” policy, at Saturday night’s game against Green Bay.

The league now limits fans to a gallon-sized Ziploc bag, a clutch purse, or a see-through bag sold by the team.

Rams COO Kevin Demoff says he wants to hear some feedback, “Get with the Edward Jones Dome staff, get with the fans, and figure out what worked and what didn’t. We can make some changes as we head into the Baltimore game. We have two weeks to tweak and get better. The policy obviously isn’t going to change, but how we prepare people and do some different things will.”

The NFL says the new league-wide policy provides a safer environment for the public and quickens the pace of fan entry into stadiums.

Speaking on KMOX’s “Sports on a Sunday Morning” show, Demoff said Saturday night’s debut of the policy at the Dome seemed to go pretty well, “It’s like the rest of the preseason, you’ve gotta study, look at what you did well and where you struggled. We’ve got to figure out ways to get better and make sure our fans always have a great fan experience.”

Another new security measure Rams fans encountered Saturday night was Broadway’s closure between Cole and Convention Plaza two-and-a-half hours before kickoff and for an hour after the game.
