Teen Hit in Front of Hazelwood Central High School

FLORISSANT, Mo. (KMOX) – Police say the teenager who was hit by a car in front of Hazelwood Central High School Friday morning suffered a head injury and broken arm, but was awake and talking to paramedics.

The 15 or 16-year-old boy was transported to St. Louis Children’s Hospital.

The driver of the car that struck the teen around 7 a.m. in the 15000 block of New Halls Ferry Road remained on the scene.

No charges have been filed at this time.
