Twitter Co-Founder To Boost St. Louis Businesses
ST. LOUIS (AP) — Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey comes home to St. Louis this week to host a conversation among local business owners.
The social media innovator will lead a panel discussion Thursday evening with Sump Coffee owner Scott Carey; Cherokee Street Bike’s Jeremy Schwartz; Kaylen Wissinger of Whisk Bakeshop; and Scarlett Garnet Jewelry owner Katie Miller.
The 90-minute event is free and begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Casa Loma Ballroom, 3354 Iowa Ave.
Dorsey’s latest venture is a company called Square, which makes small devices that can be attached to mobile phones to process credit card payments.
