Hospice Nurse’s Aide Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Patients

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. (KMOX) – A 44-year-old Ballwin man is accused of sexually assaulting patients under his care at a local hospice.

Walter J. Martinez faces two counts of deviate sexual assault and one count each of forcible rape and forcible sodomy.

The alleged attacks happened in May 2012 while Martinez was working as a hospice nurse’s aide for a company called Odyssey Hospice, where his duties included bathing patients.

St. Louis County police are also asking any other potential victims of Martinez to come forward, either by contacting their local police or by calling 889-2341.
