Two Injured in Early Morning Shootings

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – Victims of two overnight St. Louis shootings say they don’t know who shot them or why.

A 27-year-old woman tells police she was walking at North Broadway and Logan, just south of Riverview Drive, at about five o’clock Wednesday morning when a man pulled up in a blue and white pickup.

The victim says they talked for a few minutes and then, for no apparent reason, he pulled out a gun, shot her, and drove off. She’s in serious condition with a wound to her upper leg.

Just before four o’clock, two young men were sitting in a car at Cote Brilliante and Marcus when they heard shots coming from a wooded lot.

The 19-year-old passenger of the car was hit in the side and back. The driver took him to a hospital where he’s in stable condition.
