CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (AP) — For the 19th straight year, enrollment is up at Southeast Missouri State University.
The Cape Girardeau-based university said Wednesday that enrollment for fall classes that began this week is 11,367, up 2.1 percent from a year ago.
International enrollment on the Cape Girardeau campus is 942, up from 811 in the fall of 2012.
A huge growth area has been in online classes. Southeast Missouri State says 971 students are enrolled solely online. The university now offers 16 degree programs available completely online.
