ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – An early Saturday morning drive-by shooting death near the Martin Luther King Bridge in downtown St. Louis appears to be an isolated incident, says the chief of police.

But, Sam Dotson says investigators don’t have much to go on, “We can’t solve crimes without the cooperation of witnesses and specifically, victims. In this case, there were people in the vehicle that are not being forthcoming and giving us a complete story.”

Twenty-one-year-old Desmond Adair of St. Louis died fom a gunshot wound to the neck.

A 23-year-old woman in the car was shot in the arm, but is expected to survive.

Police say they are looking for a dark-colored sedan in connection with the murder.
