St. Charles Convenience Store Clerk Assaulted in Saturday Morning Holdup

ST. CHARLES (KMOX) – St. Charles police are looking for two suspects in a Saturday morning convenience store robbery.

Police say two black males went into the Petro Mart in the 2200 block of North Third Street around 3:09 a.m., robbed the clerk at gunpoint and assaulted him. He was treated at the scene by EMS and released with minor injuries.

The suspects left with an undetermined amount of money and cigarettes. They then robbed two customers on the parking lot at gunpoint.

The first suspect was described as in his late teens or early 20’s, wearing an orange hoodie, gray jeans and a ball cap. The second suspect was in his late teens or early 20’s, wearing a white polo shirt with blue stripes, white shorts and a red ball cap.
