AMBER Alert Cancelled, Champaign Teen Found

Update, 12:30 p.m. : Cleo Younce, 13, has been found unharmed at a Walmart store in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Nicholas Hurley, the suspect in her disappearance, was arrested.

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – An AMBER Alert has been issued for a 13-year-old Champaign, Illinois girl.

Champaign Police say Cleo Younce was reported missing from her home around 3:30 p.m. Thursday afternoon. Younce left her home around 12:30 p.m. to go for a walk and called her mother around 3:15 to say she had been abducted.

Detectives believe Younce is with Nicholas Hurley, 21, of Daleville, Indiana. The two were acquainted through family friends.

Cleo Younce is a white female, 5’ 8’’ tall and 175 pounds with long blonde hair and blue eyes. At the time of her disappearance she was wearing a dark-colored jacket, black tank top, dark jeans, and black and teal-colored tennis shoes.

Nicholas Hurley is described as a white male, 6′ 8″ tall and weighing 295 pounds. He has brown eyes and brown hair.

Detectives believe Hurley is driving a 2000 Chevrolet Suburban with an Indiana license plate number of 261CTD. Anyone who sees Younce, Hurley, or the vehicle is asked to call police.
