Vin Diesel scrambled and fought his way to the top of the box office in “Riddick” over the weekend. His newest sc- fi action epic took in $18.7 million.
“The Butler” continued as a real favorite with moviegoers, most of whom are raving over Forrest Whitaker’s spell-binding performance. It took in $8.9 million over the weekend landing it in second place among all motion pictures. “The Butler” has taken in a grand total of $91.9 million in four weeks of release.
“We’re the Millers” came in third over the weekend scoring $7.9 million.
