“Seven Brides For Seven Brothers” has always been a favorite at The Muny, and now the vintage Stanley Donen musical from 1954 is making a special visit to the venerable Hi Pointe Theater as part of their very popular classic movie series.
Starring Jane Powell and Howard Keel, this musical about two families finding romance on a ranch in Oregon was one of the best-loved musicals of its era.
“Seven Brides For Seven Brothers” will have one showing at 10:30 AM on Saturday, September 14 at The Hi Pointe. Admission is $5 per person. The Hi Pointe is located at 1005 McCausland. For more information, click on the link below. I will be introducing the film at 10:15.
Opening this weekend as the regular attraction at The Hi Pointe is Robert DeNiro in “The Family.”
