High School Alumnus Threatens Reunion on Facebook

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – A ten-year high school reunion scheduled for Saturday night was cancelled, after one of the class members posted several threatening messages on Facebook.

Police say 28 year-old Lindbergh High School graduate Andrew Middleton is charged with making a terroristic threat. His bail has been set at $25,000.

In his Facebook post Middleton wrote: “You (expletives) who set up a high school reunion thought it was cool to send me a invite.” “I will blow your (expletive) head off with my 9mm or 45mm.” He went on to write to one facebook friend “I don’t hate everyone, I’m just a little messed up right now.”

The Lindbergh School District has issued a statement saying it is dismayed to learn that the threat was made against the class of 2003. It also is reassuring parents that the comments were not directed toward current Lindbergh students or any Lindbergh schools.
