Police: Bank Robber Uses Pepper Spray Before Fleeing Scene

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOX) – Police are asking for your help in finding a man who used pepper spray in two recent robberies.

Authorities say he held-up the Advanced America Cash Loans on 10018 West Florissant in Dellwood Thursday. Police say he pulled a handgun and forced a female victim to give him cash from the safe. Then he pepper sprayed her before running away.

Last Friday, the same suspect robbed a Missouri Payday Loans on 11732 West Florissant, north of I-270. That time he forced employees to the rear of the store and used pepper spray on a victim before running off.

He is described at a black male in his 20’s. On both occasions he wore black pants, black tennis shoes and a red baseball cap.
