Police: No Smash & Grabs During Balloon Glow

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – St. Louis police say they found no vandalism or theft from cars during Friday night’s balloon glow in Forest Park.

A special detail was put in place this weekend to stop crime there.

However, officers say there there were two reports filed, earlier Friday.

A woman parked in the east lot of the art museum says a vandal smashed her car window and stole a bookbag.

A man told police someone stole his 1990 white Chevy Caprice with chrome wheels from the upper Muny parking lot.
