Two Arrested in Fatal North County Stabbing

MOLINE ACRES, Mo. (AP) – Two men are in custody following the fatal stabbing of a woman in St. Louis County.

The victim, 31-year-old Shrelia Barnes, was found about 3 a.m. Sunday on a street near Moline Acres.

The men who found her dropped her off at a hospital and left. Barnes died at the hospital.

Police spokesman Randy Vaughn says police on Monday arrested two men, ages 47 and 48. Their names have not been released pending formal charges.

Vaughn says one of the men told police that the stabbing occurred during an argument over money.
