ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – It appears that when the St. Louis Blues begin the new NHL regular season, they’ll be doing it without last season’s NHL goaltending rookie of the year.

The team on Thursday sent goalie Jake Allen and six other players to their new minor league affiliate in the AHL, the Chicago Wolves.

Also sent out were forwards Ty Rattie, Dmitrij Jaskin, Sergey Andronov, and Keith Aucoin, as well as two defensemen, Jani Hakanpaa and Joel Edmundson.

The moves reduced the Blues roster size to 25.
