ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - The St. Louis Symphony has released its fiscal year 2013 results and revenue is up seven percent.
CEO Fred Bronstein says this is the fifth year of the symphony’s “Building Our Business” initiative and it’s working out well.
“Our overall operating revenues were up a little over seven percent, driven largely by increased contributor revenues – fundraising – which is up just under six percent, about 5.7 percent,” Bronstein explained.
A large part of the fundraising bump came from a $10 million endowment which Bronstein called “wonderfully generous” and “remarkable.”
