ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Everything from championship rings to commemorative baseballs, hundreds of Stan Musial’s personal items are now being auctioned online.

Musial’s grandson, Brian Musial Schwarze, says the reason “There was so much stuff we didn’t know what to do with all of it. He’s donated so much to the Cardinals and the Hall of Fame, so we though this would be a good way for fans to have some of his items” Schwarze told KMOX.

There are signed photographs, baseball cards, jerseys, spikes and even a pair of red stirrups (the red stockings that most ballplayers don’t wear anymore) and, of course, harmonicas. Even the shovel Stan used to help break ground for the New Busch Stadium is being auctioned.

The auction of 400 lots of items runs through November 9th.
