Anonymous Tip Leads to Arrest in Hit and Run Accident at School

Granite City (KMOX) Friday afternoon-a mom in her minivan was at Frohardt School in Granite City to pick up her kids. Her vehicle was struck by an
SUV that then fled the scene.

But thanks to an anonymous tip a short time later-Granite City Police have arrested a 25 year old male.

The mother-along with her 3 kids-ages 10-5-and 4 months-drove to the hospital to get checked out. They’re all OK.

Sargeant Aaron Flynn of the Granite City Police Department tells KMOX charges of Hit and Run Involving Personal Injuries will probably come Monday.
