ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - The Rams lost more than a football game yesterday.

Quarterback Sam Bradford was injured in the fourth quarter of yesterday’s 30-15 loss to the Carolina Panthers when he landed on his knee after being shoved out of bounds by Panthers safety Mike Mitchell.

Bradford had x-rays on the knee before the team left Charlotte.

Late Sunday night an MRI in St. Louis indicated Bradford had torn his ACL, a ligament in the knee.

The injury is believed to be season-ending.
