St. Louis (KMOX) Some local students are heading into space Wednesday—sort of.

Students at Challenger Learning Center-St Louis will join students in 10 other classrooms across the U-S in a live simulated space missions. One is at 10am–the other at 1pm.

The students at Challenger-which is located in Ferguson-will be linked–live and in real time–to the other students to work together to successfully complete the virtual mission.

You’ll be able to view the hour long programs on several different formats—-on the internet at http://www.hectv.org — or on HEC-TV at Charter Communications digital channels 989—or AT&T’s U-Verse channel 99. Following the event–the program will be available for on-demand viewing at hectv.org
